I always say this is it for a while then new shit comes out…. But honestly the modding is the most fun.

I agree!! Been modding for weeks. Once the winch is done I’ll update my build thread, a lot of blood, sweat and tears, almost literally.

Wrapping up the front 1.5” at the moment, moving to the rear next. First corner was epic lame, next corner took 1/8th the time. Would I do it again, yes!

I haven’t added my circuit breaker/idolater switch as of yet. Also need to clean up wires.

Haven’t installed it yet, next weekend project. But there is a spot on the bracket for it.

I'm thinking of relocating mine under the hood too, I wonder if that mount will work for my Smittybilt winch pack. If I do that I'd wire up the control pack switch up to an upfitter switch, then never need to open the hood at all to operate the winch (wireless remote).

Planning to get 1/0 wire from the local Platt store, $3.70 per ft, will go 1 gauge if the run is less than 5.6'. JCR cam bracket is on order, 5-20 business day lead time. Winch is ready to pick up at 4WP, RC Mount/light shows up Friday.

Any issues with hood clearance with the BAMF Bracket?

Looking to do the same with a Smittybilt X20. It's control box looks a little smaller than the Warn.
