Iāll have to check if I hear the pump when Iām not getting fluid. I can only add a quarter of a gallon when I refill and I canāt see the entire reservoir which is why I asked about the capacity.I guess it depends on how long you run the washer for you half dozen times.
Barring that, you have already troubleshooted a leak, so that leaves intermittent pump failure (which I assume you hear the pump running, just no fluid coming out), or other reservoir issue (maybe the bottom is filled with sand or jello). When you run out of fluid, how much fluid does it take to refill?
Absolutely agree. Makes filling it a real pain in the butt and sooo slow.2300 miles in a Minnesota winter, got a whole gallon into it. Worst fucking filler neck design ever.
Do you just fill up whenever you feel like it? Or is your low level light on when you fill it?Iāll have to check if I hear the pump when Iām not getting fluid. I can only add a quarter of a gallon when I refill and I canāt see the entire reservoir which is why I asked about the capacity.
I've had a bunch of different cars, including jeep, and this is the first one that takes the entire bottle. It seems like it could take more as well.Strange.
I was psyched when a full gallon fit. It always annoyed me on all my VWs when a fraction of the bottle had to get stashed for next time. Liters? Ha!
Sounds like some sort of pump issue?
