This past weekend I went to turn on the wipers and nothing happened. They do nothing no matter where the wiper control is set. The rear wiper still works fine, just the front windshield wipers. The wiper fluid still sprays, but then I have to use a paper towel to wipe the windows clean. I have an appointment at my Ford dealership this week to check on it, but figured I would mention it here in case there are others with a similar issue.

The wipers were working just fine a week or so back. I have used the wipers on several occasions over the past few months of ownership. Everything else seems to be working as it should. I'm hoping it is just a loose connection or something.

Look on the owners manual for the wiper or wiper motor fuse. If it’s blown, usually there are spares taped to the inside of the fuse box cover. If a second one blows or the fuse is intact, take it to a dealer.

Swapping fuses did not solve the issue.

Dealer said the motor(s) are dead. Strange for such a new vehicle.

Ford and General Motors also recalled nearly 682,000 compact SUVs in April because the windshield wipers can fail.
This maybe why your motor went dead.

The quality of products in today's world is just abysmal. Having something go bad due to a "manufactured defects" and using the warranty to repair is just how things work.

It used to be that "playing the odds" was reserved for Amazon/eBay/Harbor Freight type products, now it applies to almost everything.
