Hello!

Had a few buddies asking how I installed the Wolfbox into my Bronco Raptor and am going to make a post explaining as much as I can!

Total Install Time: 4.5 hours

Materials Used:
Mirror
4 Fuse Tap (If not already included/purchased)
Mirror Mount
Rear Mount (If mounting In spare)
1 small bolt for rear camera

Install:
First thing I did was install the fuse connections
***EDIT*** Changed the fuses to 37 and 25 for constant power
After disconnecting the battery, use these little guys and connect the red (ACC) to fuse 37 and the yellow (BAT) to fuse 25. You just remove whatever fuse is currently in that spot, place it into the empty slot shown below

There is a nice spot for the ground right outside of the panel:

I reconnected the battery at this point to check that everything was working.
Then you need to pull some plastic panels. Reference this IAG install video for their dome lights on removing the driver side and passenger side panels.
Ignore steps regarding the dome light wiring
No need to pull rear driver side trim off, the rear camera cable will be routed to the back via the passenger side
Pay attention to the routing of cables behind the airbags/ brackets
Here is a video explaining where I ran the wiring
The only tool I used once the trim was removed was a trim tool to force the wires out of sight
Once the wires are in the back the mount for the camera is fairly self explanatory. Before I installed the camera I did modify the Crutchfield mount slightly by drilling a bigger hole in both the Wolfbox provided camera mount and the Crutchfield mount to fit a slightly larger bolt than the ones provided by Wolfbox.

If you're running the camera to the spare, then the rear tire needs to be removed. Place the rear mount bracket from on the spare lugs then adjust the mount as best you can. I got some help once I installed my tire back on. While I was lifting it back on I had someone adjust the camera mount to make sure it fit between the wheel spaces. As you can see below it fit, but was a little close to the top.

That's it! From there I just adjusted the mirror and cameras to make sure everything looked good to go!

Nice job. Brandmotion is awfully proud of that camera mount. $99! I installed the Havoc 3rd brake light extension ($25) when I went to 35x11.5’s and mounted my camera on top of the third brake light. Even with the camera angle tilted down, the tire doesn’t obstruct the view.

Nice work @TheLawnDart! Here's my install so we can compare notes. I initially went the hardware route, but seeing the OEM rear view mirror harness went unused, I decided to repurpose it and use that for my power. Granted, I don't have the "sentry mode" when the ignition is turned off, but in reality that doesn't matter to me.

Installing mine this weekend, super helpful info. Thank you!
@RustysBronco - stupid question- does the mirror boot any slower without a constant feed?

@RustysBronco where did you mount the gps sensor? The video freezes on me at 9:18.
Right at the windshield. Looks something wonky happened uploading to Youtube. I'll have to fix the video.

Let me know if anything else seems wonky!

Hey I guess I can jump into this conversation. I have also installed the Wolfbox G900 pro in my Rig.
I used the following
1. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088P4VFQ7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
2.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Y5G53QW?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
3. OEM bracket from WolfBox
4. Gorilla Glue double-sided tape.

By using the Dongar Ford adapter, I did not have to run the wires to the fuse box. So I used the OEM bracket, removed my mirror, and installed the adapter inside the front collision cover.. It all fit well. I then used the double-sided tape and put the USB underneath the cover.

I ran the GPS wire down the driver's side A-pillar, and brought it out to the middle of the dash, next to the USB ports. I ran the rear camera wire down the passenger side running it along the top behind the covers for the side airbags. I ran the wire to the middle of the rollover bar cover, and that is where I am. When my Armadillo top finally gets delivered, I will run the camera to the top of it, just inside the glass. I had considered putting it outside by the spare tire, but I feel mounting it inside at the glass will be just fine.

Nice write up. How do like not having an actual rearview mirror?

That is how I wired up my Wolfbox, only I wanted a front camera (going back to Hells Revenge in the spring) so I just used the lic mount and mounted it to the front.

You can turn it off and use it as a regular mirror. But it is really dark it is not a mirror but more like a cell phone turned off. it is reflective but...

It works like a regular mirror when turned off. With the rear camera, it is still a rear view, just digital.
I use my side mirrors all the time, so honestly it is not big change for me.

Good write up. I just installed my G900 Pro last weekend. I did an add a fuse and ran my rear camera along the passenger side and through the tailgate to mount it right above the factory reverse camera. I needed to get a 6' foot extension cable for the rear camera. I use outdoor plastic velcro to mount the rear camera.

I like mine and install wasn’t bad at all. I was hopeful I could use it instead of my go pro and mount that elsewhere for cool shots but I hate seeing the frits and couldn’t find a way where they weren’t visible.
