Or... maybe hard top owners weren't repelled only by the crappy rear windows. Maybe they chose a hard top because they:
- might be an outdoor enthusiast and want to have a roof rack to ski, bike, kayak, camp, etc.
- might want to be able to use a car wash
- might want a roof that doesn't leak and let snow accumulate inside
- might want to be able to have a conversation at highway speeds
- might want to avoid having people easily break into their car
- or maybe you're right and they just hate the frumpy styling of the soft top

But while you laugh at everyone with a hard top - consider that everyone with a hard top looks at you and thinks "that guy settled for a soft top just to get his car earlier because he was desperate and didn't reserve on July 13, 2020 like me. Now he's gonna have to pay $1,000s more to correct his terrible mistake."
I've seen live in person zero hard tops with racks but ok I'm sure they exist. I use a car wash, mine doesn't leak or has it let snow in, my wife and I visit all the time @highway speeds. Ya, I don't live in crime infested stink hole so what ever. You're making mountains out of mole hills with that list. To each their own but we work our top hard , I can't imagine not having that freedom of 30 seconds to top down.

Every person I see in a hard top I feel sorry for them, at some point their gonna have to pay $1,000s more to correct their terrible mistake.

I'll always remember the first time I took her top off. 1500 miles in, and I love it.

This is my second winter in Tahoe with my soft top. I was seriously worried about the winters and it holding up with no garage, but happy to say it has held up like a champ, even after one bear break in and epic snow this year. I love dropping the top in late spring and summer.

This is a great thread (aside from a few off-topic posts); sounds like soft top folks are generally happy with their choice, and same with hard top people. I think that's great testament to coolness of Broncos and their owners. Everyone wants to brag about theirs! 👊

Btw - My wife enjoys the soft top down a lot more after I added a Bestop Bimini cover. Really cut down on wind turbulence (and noise) over 50mph and direct sun.

I believe Besttop slanted backs don't give you the option to go all the way down like in your photo. Huge disadvantage IMO since this is the best looking and best riding position.

Last I remember they were working on a top that could do this.
There is a powered softtop from domewhere that a push of a button retracts completely or as much as the manual top

I like the 4-door to pack all my gear, but that soft looks awesome. Almost thou persuadest me to buy a 2-door
My son and I just took an 8-day, 2700-mile camping trip and we got ALL OF OUR STUFF in that rig right there. We were not boondocking, we were in a campground, but we had all the things..

I’d love to own both, but Ford thinks the hardtop should be worth as much as a 2015 Focus
Have there been any threads discussing what might have to be removed and reinstalled to go back and forth between a hardtop and a soft top and vice versa? I just removed the hard top and installed a soft top on my 2-door, and it appears that one might have to remove quite a few pieces to put the hardtop back on? I have had many Jeeps with both tops and switching back and forth was fairly simple and easy.......... not sure if that is going to be true with the Bronco?
Perhaps since it's a Bestop soft top, a Bestop representative might be able to answer this question ?

Love my soft top. Thought that I wanted a hard top. Completely prefer the soft top now. Chose a different color to go with the black canvas - love.

I am picking up my hard top bronco on saturday. I need to find an OEM soft top asap.
I have full retractable top that I am not going to use that I ordered with my 2022 wildtrack 4 door. If your anywhere near oregon let me know. You can have other for what I paid.
