Two different animals. I have the Ford canvas “ shade” top. It is used while operating the vehicle. The weather cover I have is for use when the vehicle is parked and topless. I take it with me when I travel during summer when the entire top is off in case the weather turns.

I thought about it for a minute, and figured that was maybe what you meant. Searched it and found this(see pic).
I am looking for something I can throw over the cab real quick when I'm on the road and it starts raining, just like the Bimini top I had on my CJ years ago, and like they still make for Jeeps now. Wish someone would figure out how to do one of these for the Bronco. Carrying the front hard tops now for rain protection, but want to travel lighter.

Cheap straps, doesn’t fit that well and is not waterproof. It is no more than a dust cover.

This however, is the real deal for the occasional shower.

I was going to work on something that gave full protection but still allowed access. I want to open the rear gate, and i want to open the front doors. I have it mocked up, but just need to spend time making it. Going to be out of Marine Canvas like they cover boats with. Similar to the bimini's here:
