Rattle canned the grille - spray painted flat black

Prime and painted flat black. Never liked the shiny plastic look, and no after market grilles appeal to me - painted the stock one flat black along with the trail sight deletes.

Next is the AVS deflector/light bar which I have to pull off first a clean up the wiring.

Looks good, the new rattle can paint formulas hold up much better than they used to.

I was thinking about doing mine is semigloss but I don't want to have to take it out! Mine is the greyish color but I want it to match the top and wheels.

Looks much better!! The Badlands grille shiny gunmetal color never looked good to me. Maybe Ford thought it looked like steel? Whatever their idea, it doesn’t match any other color on the Bronco.

You'd be surprised how easy the Grill is to remove.

I will add the caveat that it seems to chip off easy, as it did while flexing the grille slightly while installing. Maybe there was a surface prep I could have applied before priming, I don’t know. Anyway like everything else on this Bronco, there will be a paint touch up needed now and then.

Either would be fine for me. I’m tired of the Outer Banks glossy grill and don’t want the one that’s charcoal with sparkles.

I think Big Bend grill is the best, personally, but I kinda lucked into mine.

I never really thought of it as having glitter... but I guess with a unicorn sticker and some rainbows it wouldn't look all that bad either.

Made plastic inserts to put between my letters and painted them to match the grille so my black letters would show up more

Maybe I'm in the minority but I like the grey in the badlands grill and prefer it over the other models.

It’s the exact same as the unpainted fender flares, slight satin sheen if you keep it clean…. I don’t lol

Try plastidip. I did that a couple years ago on my wife's old base Mini Countryman's grill. It held up really well anf never chipped or peeled over the 50k miles she had it.
