Off Road Towing (Bronco + Mammoth Overland set-up)

Not an officially rated trail, but based on my experience, a level 4 Trail- off camber, obstacles, loose rock inclines, 4lo and lockers needed- the Bronco/Mammoth Overland set-up handled it without issue. Trailer weighs
1700lbs dry.

Best part about difficult to reach camping spots- didn’t see a soul for 3 days.

You have trailer brakes on that trailer? If so, curious to know if you opted for the Ford Accessories controller (which is just a Redarc) or if you went aftermarket.

Yes it has trailer brakes. I used my FordPass points and bought the controller. I haven’t put it in yet. Haven’t really needed it, but this last trip there were a couple times I realized I should’ve put it in. I plan on installing it before the next trip.

My only question is, why is the person in the photo wearing clothes? If there ever was a buck naked location that was it. Nice set up.

I literally tow this thing everywhere I’ve got over 10k on it

no limits in this trailer weighing only 523 lbs

That set up looks great and a lot of fun

Love all the things in the sky you can see that far out at night

and the sounds you can hear at night out at a place like that, even if some of them are from something that might be eyeing you as food

haha! We need to get a group there. Could prob fit 5-6 broncos. Spot is terrific.

I once had a U-haul trailer and had the hardest time parking with it.
If I had to reverse, I would just go around and try again instead of trying to reverse.
The fact that you can take yours off roading is bonkers to me.
