The transmission pans is pretty far up but this owner managed to puncture theirs. The first thing I thought was that you put your tires UP on obstacles.

But stuff can happen.

I wasn't that far off the beaten path so I was impressed by how far back the Bronco got especially since it appeared that the Trail Mater vehicles struggled to get back there.

I have a few repairs tools with me but I think I might add some JB Weld and trans fluid. Or get some more armor.

The moral of the story is that if you’re going to wheel your Bronco in rocks get skid plates.

Rory drove in 2wd all the way back to the Bronco until he was about 30 feet from it. So he didn’t struggle at all relatively speaking.

I probably exaggerated. I was still impressed at where the Bronco made it to.

Hey I’ve been saying this since the Bronco came out!

However I’ve installed the Talons Garage transmission pan skid since this and tried to break it on the Rubicon. Been doing fantastic and strongest one on the market currently

It's been forever since I've looked at what the BL comes with. LCA, rear shock mount and rear diff all on my radar. Are there any major components not covered?

do you have this pan? How deep is it? It looks like it may add an inch or two. And hang kinda low.

I do not have this pan yet. The trans is so far up inside the frame rails being deeper will not matter. I will be installing the pan over the skid do to loss of clearance I have the 2.7 with the angled support braces that hang down they are beat to hell I don't care. Give me clearance.

Who says you can’t flat tow these things! Maybe the trick is the 10ft green rope behind a Jeep scrambler instead of metal bars hooked up to a 40’ diesel pusher RV.

This. Also helps with minor cooling.
Minor indeed if you run skids. I chose Mishimoto over PPE given the CF they had with the Wrangler paired with a 3.6L.

Black Friday was $252 to the door for a black powdercoated Mishimoto.
