I love my Bronco. It's my favorite car to drive. But I do not want two of them (even if they are different trims). I can't really ever imagine simultaneously having two of the same car at the same time.

But I see quite a few people with two Broncos on the forum. I know the forum is a small slice of overall owners and these owners are pretty passionate - which is why they are on the forum. But, I'm curious - why get multiple Broncos?

Apparently it's an odd 6G thing. Some people here even buy 3 of 4 new Broncos! Of course, people can do what they want, but I find it odd. Maybe it's partly due to human response to scarcity?

I have a daily driver, and my wife has a daily driver. Hers is a Pacifica, but if she wanted a Bronco, we'd trade the Pacifica for another Bronco, and I wouldn't think twice about having the same vehicle. I like having my own vehicle, with my stuff where I left it, so I wouldn't want to share my daily driver. We do drive each other's vehicles, we're not weird like that, but I just like having my own.

Some thoughts:

  1. I think some people need to be able to colour coordinate with their outfits with different Bronco colour choices.
  2. Like a mood ring, want the ability of their Bronco to reflect how they truly feel that moment.
  3. Like Skittles, they like a variety of the rainbow.
  4. One to get dirty, and one to baby.
  5. Moar door vs. 2 door.

Because sometimes my wife and kids need to go somewhere without me?
Because your wife and kids are driving off-road somewhere, while you are off-roading at the same time? At least that could make some sense in terms of the functionalities.

One to drive while one gets fixed from a rollover?

Most families in the USA have multiple vehicles. What is the harm in having similar rides?

No, when they go off road they drive the FJ cruiser...

99.99% of almost anyone's driving is on road. Can't my wife have fun too?

I always find it kind of odd when a couple owns matching vehicles if it's some generic crossover or something. Enthusiast cars make more sense.

My wife wants a moardoor now. So I guess you could say we still would only have one Bronco. 😁

Because: 1. America, 2. my money, 3. nunya. Besides, my BL is a built-up weekend warrior off-roader and the wifes new OBX-Squatch will be certified mall crawler.

We were a 3 Bronco family for about 5 days, that will come to an end this morning when @carmigo picks up the wifes old '21 BL. I also have a HE with a build date too incase you weren't irritated enough.

Sometimes I want to go to Home Depot, but my wife wants to go to Costco, at the same time. How we going to do that without two Broncos - duh!? ;)

Also I'm getting a third new Bronco for when my daughter turns 17 - just because. Haters gonna hate. ;)
