Were these repairs due to off-roading? Or daily driving?Impressive, I’ve got 60k and have replaced the front differential bolts (second time they’ve broke) tonight, yesterday a broken sway bar link and in the past week 2 CVs (had fun at Bronco safari).
It get used off road in the rocks, if it were just driven on the road I would imagine it would be fine. Were these repairs due to off-roading? Or daily driving?
Yes broken fdu bolt just happened to me! WTF?? And right side cv. So not sure if bolt broke first then diff moved out of alignment and cv bound up or cv bound up and all the xtra torque snapped the bolt? At any rate upgrading to the ultimate Dana 44 fdu with 32 spline half shafts.Impressive, I’ve got 60k and have replaced the front differential bolts (second time they’ve broke) tonight, yesterday a broken sway bar link and in the past week 2 CVs (had fun at Bronco safari).
Yes. I bought an old F250 for the farm and as a backup.250K-Do you ever get out of it?
my rule of thumb is if I’m ever stranded especially on an interstate it’s gone. Came close when I didn’t change spark plugs like I should have. That amount of driving every day is impressive and frightening.
At what mileage do you plan to get a replacement?
