So I've had my Wildtrak since Thursday the 8th and since then have put just under 300 miles on it myself. It had roughly 25 miles at delivery. Mostly driven on 2 lane hwys no more than 60mph and some dirt back roads here and there. This is by no means a hypermiling machine, but I'm happy to report I'm at an overall average of 19mpg on regular ol' 87octane

ETA: 4dr WT, lux, modular front bumper, tow package, mic top

What were reports before like 14-17? Also once the vehicle hits 1k miles will that make any difference in MPG or is that just related to transmission break in?

I'm no expert, but I think it has more to do with me driving like a grandma more than vehicle specs lol

(No offense grandma 😘)

19.0 is great. But i have a feeling its skewed a bit from feathering the gas pedal during break-in. When your focused on your RPMs, you're probably prone to do more coasting than you would normally, without realizing it.

19 MPG sounds good. Assume you didn't use much A/C at 73°

During you driving experience, did you try different GOAT modes? If so, do you have a favorite? (I suspect it might be the Sport mode. ;) )

Good info OP.

Any chance you could update this thread every 500 miles or so for the first 5k?

Could be very insightful.
I'll do my best but I make no promises.

No goat modes yet. I'm trying hard to break it in with ease. In my experience, tranny's needs more break in attention than the motor so I'm really trying to focus on feathering the throttle.

Easily over 60% has been a combination of windows down and some or all top panels off.
