Am I crazy to sell FJ Cruiser for Bronco?

Realistically you are looking at about a year or more wait. Plenty of time to work through things. Since they aren't building any more FJs you should find a way to have both.

I broke down and ordered a 2 door Badlands Bronco last week. No I’m worried I might be making a mistake get ride of FJ for Bronco. The “1st year issues” scare me when I know the Toyota can run for 200k+ with no issues. Just looking for Bronco lovers opinions.

Second keep them both. I had an FJ from 14-18. For the following two years I hated my self, till I bought my second FJ 14 TTUE and made my Bronco reservation.

Oh, and like was mentioned before, if you just ordered the Bronco then, then you’ll be waiting for a while. Unless your loaded and can afford the $10-20k dealer markups going around!

I don't think you can go wrong either way, the big failures seem to be overall pretty rare so it comes down to whether you mind a few extra dealership trips for recalls over silly stuff like airbags or mirror whistling. Hopefully going forward there should be no more roof issues.

I'm shooting for 2023 because I don't want to deal with those stupid issues and the bronco i want doesn't exist yet. (fancy top, heritage edition, Rapid red or acceptable alternative, V8, etc)

I had an FJ that I modded, wheeled, and loved for 5 years…a beautiful all green TT….the Bronco blows it away. You won’t regret moving to the Bronco for a second.

Over 200k miles on my 2007 FJ TRD. Bought new as a first year when I lived in NC, now living in SoCal. Blew a head gasket a few months ago, so now decided what to do with it.
