Fords traceability of their vehicles is abysmal. They all come with connected service that constantly monitor their locations. They could easily allow you to track your order. So no, they’re not Amazon, but they could do better.

My Bronco is currently MIA. Dealer says it’s still in the rail car. Train company says the rail car is empty. Both are just pointing their fingers at each other and I’m just stuck in the middle… Ford can literally trace the car if they wanted to. My F-150 tracks my driving habits and saves frequent locations such as “Home” & “Work” yet Ford can’t find a bronco supposedly lost in a rail yard…

yes but not expecting to ever change. I added VIN's from multiple ford dealerships in charlotte and website does not show any current or delivered for any of them.

then i figured out entering dealership code and choosing reference number 2 will show everything for that particular dealership. 827 orders - only ones that showed delivered were from 2014 and 2015.

Oh, weird! My dealer's active deliveries are changing regularly. I even got an email when new deliveries happened last week.

I'm stuck on a decision.... I've tinted the windows on ever vehicle I've ever own, beside the 73 Bronco. But I can't decide if I want to tint the fronts on the new one. My wife says it's because I want people to be able to see me as I drive it. I told her she was as crazy as a fruit cake.

I mean even the guy from Long McArthur Ford that runs the youtube says he hates tinting windows because he wants people to see him in the car, lol.

I likely wont tint the Bronco, we'll see though.

Sunday Morning update:
No changes in status.
Still sitting at the final destination railyard since Thursday.
No real surprise there.
I have a new salesman, or should I say a salesman now.
The previous person was the sales manager but I spoke to the actual salesperson yesterday.

He says 5-10 days is the usual lead time between arrival at the railyard and delivery to the dealership.

I sent him my "list of demands" and my OCD list thank you @Cat
I told him that it would either make him laugh or respect my thoroughness.
Either way, it will be a topic of conversation and if he needed any clarification, now is the time.

He said he would check the Ford System on Monday and update me.

My EDD is 1-29-22 so we are still on track to meet that.

Are you checking the United Road status and how many cars are ready for pick-up? Mine dropped off the 19th as well, but was the only one at the stop. Now there are 4 but I imagine they try to maximize the car hauler capacity and fewest stops. Just my guess.

for me nothing shows under Current Shipments or Delivered for my dealership so have no idea. I believe its because dealership has changed names couple times - and the destination for mine shows old name.

Our Broncos are likely parked next to each other in that huge parking lot. My dealer is small so I hope they send a truck for it next week. If they have to wait to fill a truck, it might be a looong time.

That’s what I thought, but they went to pick it up on Friday and they didn’t find it..? Their driver picks up twice a day, so I’m in limbo until Monday to see if they can sort it out

My Bronco showed up at the dealer yesterday (1/22/22) morning unannounced. I received no built email or shipped email. Super excited! Picking up Friday.

Was dropping the dogs off at the farm so they could get some exercise and decided to show the Bronco another fried chicken spot and grab a snowy pic.

Tested out the ACC on the way. There wasn't enough people on the road to check on the distance and speed adjustments, but it handled hills well, tight corners still needed brakes.

That burning smell finally went away and I crossed the 200 mile mark.

Oh, and my wife's dog drools like crazy, so I feel completely vindicated in getting vinyl seats in a truck this expensive.
