The entire Ford marketing team should be fired.

They’ve got no control over inaccurate, uninformative, and misleading emails being sent to massive, random groups of customers?

How the heck does any viable company do that? Hope the QA team for my vehicle isn’t the same QA team in charge of communication.

Good morning everyone.....I got the same email on my black diamond and my badlands. I checked the order app tracker this morning and my badlands moved to awaiting shipment! My black diamond says still in production. Check your order track app and see what it says.

I received that email this morning. If I open the forum tracker from my phone, it shows 'delivered' and Ford site says 'in transit'. If I open from my laptop, it shows 'in production'. I showed 'built' two days ago. Their tracking software needs help.

I got that email too. it really gives no new info. I wish they would just say something like "we ran out of sphinxter valves and we need to wait until the next shipment comes before completing your bronco or something like that, at least it would be descriptive and you wouldnt have to sit and wonder what the heck is going on, or where it is, etc.. frustration is all i can think of now.

I work as QA for a 'global data/marketing conglomerate' for lack of a better term. Sending an email blast is, as this shows, quite risky in many ways. As QA I'm used to hearing lovely phrases like, 'How did QA miss that', instead of, 'Good job on catching those hundreds of critical issues!'.

With such a massive company I'm betting they have a few people review the emails, a few people manage the lists/data, others to set up the send, etc. Their naming conventions might not be the best either for lists or emails. One person having a busy day misreads the set up for approval, someone gets yelled at by a boss's boss and takes their word for it it's been reviewed, etc, etc....

Guess what I'm saying is mistakes happen. Is it frustrating? Heck yeah. Is it a rather large mistake? Obviously.

Considering the pressure many of the people are under with all this going on I'm willing to cut them a little slack though.

I just got this. Better late than never I guess. Silly on me for expecting an update to the pizza tracker after getting that email. Didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know, which is very little on the status. I’ve only been on ice mountain since January 16.

I just laughed. I got one for the Maverick I ordered (that hasn't been scheduled for production) too.

I ordered a Tesla this week and it's supposed to be here in May.

It's just not that hard Ford.
