Get your oil changed...
I wondered about that… old school (me) would say yes… for sure… but there is much debate out there as to whether it is necessary to do so or not considering all the new technology and such…

thoughts all?

I didn't get mine changed, I will at 6k miles when I do the tires. And yes I will only be using Synthetic blend that Ford puts in it at the service department. I don't get all into the full synthetic. I believe if it needed full synthetic Ford would have put it in from factory.

Currently in the process of using the matte black plasti dip spray on my rear bronco emblem. Also trying the Ford emblem that I haven't seen done so far. Will share after pics once it's done.

the bronco emblem is easy to plastidip. For the Ford emblem, I found looks better with a vinyl overlay. Give me a minute and I'll go take a picture of the vinyl I bought from Stickerfab (matte background with gloss black copy)

Edit - here’s the picture

Results were not worth sharing, first time using it and flubbed it lol. Apparently I didn't peel it soon enough so I messed up the edges.

Send them to me, I'll paint them up for ya. I will color match the Ford emblem. That's what I did to mine, my Bronco is already black.

No, just need a dremel or drill with small drill bit to remove the melted joints. I watched a couple of YT videos just to make sure I was doing correctly. Prep...prep..and more prep is the key then glue it all back together.

What are you painting? Did you see the hat I tagged you in the other night? When you go to remove it you will swear you are ripping the tailgate off the Bronco, there are 2 clips one on each side that you will need to break to get off. I couldn't figure out how to get them loose from the inside. So i just used 3M tape to mount it back on.

My mando armor. This is my only finished piece so far. Painted intentionally to be peeled and tattered with masking fluid and black wash.

Hahaha - I did a test fit to see how the color matches my sash/color theme and it shows what the armor piece is for.
