Yeah gimme a bit. I'll toss something in here tomorrow (sun is going down here. ...and I'm lazy)Hotdog, can you share a picture of your mounting location and how you ran the wires? Sounds a little less invasive.
Thanks!

That’s where mine is going tooNope mine is on the plate under the steering column. It’s almost like it was made for it.
Alright, I'll have you know that I had to set down my margarita just to take these. It was touch and go for a second there.Hotdog, can you share a picture of your mounting location and how you ran the wires? Sounds a little less invasive.

Do you lose some range of the adjustable steering wheel putting it here?Alright, I'll have you know that I had to set down my margarita just to take these. It was touch and go for a second there.
That was a legitimate concern when I was toying with putting it there, but even at the bottom setting for the wheel there's still about 1/4" between the top of the amp and the bottom of the column.Do you lose some range of the adjustable steering wheel putting it here?
I really appreciate the herculean effort! Next time you are Texas let me know and I will make it up to you with a margarita!Alright, I'll have you know that I had to set down my margarita just to take these. It was touch and go for a second there.
Thats where I put mine!I had no idea that was a thing. I saw numerous threads and videos and every one I saw put it in the same place
Around $129 from the looks of their other productsI'm just hoping it doesn't follow typical bronco accessory pricing and cost $200
I have it on good word that this will be around 30 dollar rangeAround $129 from the looks of their other products
or $30 gets you some plastic you can just screw into https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JM9WDOK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9KP4D0D7HVJAJZ5EMTEB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
After watching everyone get creative with mounting the Kicker Key 200.4 up above the glovebox, it seemed like a need to be filled. Thanks to my friends at @Mountains2Metal , it is becoming a reality. Thanks for letting me be the Guinea pig guys, install video coming soon.
Funny you say that, the go to market version of this will also have holes for the micro mobile base station. he is just confirming the mounting holes first. Not sure if the 575 is same footprint but I know he was gonna test with the 275. I’m tagging @Mountains2Metal here, you can PM him if u likeCan you add the holes to support using that plate to mount a Midland 272 or 575 radio? Both radios fit there nicely but need a similar plate. I'm 100% sure I could just buy that and add the holes, but if you did it, it opens up more customers for you. Both are really popular radios, so there's a market for it. And for that idea, I get one for free

I’ve already mounted mine using the plastic but if it’s in the $30 range, he can expect an order from me!I have it on good word that this will be around 30 dollar range

There are extra holes in the current plate that @Copperhorse73 has. His is basically a working prototype and any changes made to the parts we list on the website will be very minor if we make any changes at all. I will have a solid answer on the Midland setup very soon. This is started out as a Kicker amp mount and migrated to adding additional accessories. There is a lot of real estate behind the front of the dash above the glove box. This should help keep everything nice and clean.Great, I literally just walked in the house from temporarily mounting my 575 right there and sitting down here to look for a proper mounting option.
