I have a 2021 F150 SCREW 2.7L with 3.55 gears and a 2022 Bronco 2.7L with 3.73 gears. Both with 32” tires.

There is no comparison between the two. I thought the Bronco would be a rocket ship with the 2.7 based on my experience with the F150, I was wrong. Ford limited the output in the Bronco big time cause of the weaker transmission. It’s still a fun vehicle, but kinda a waste of a good motor.

Ugh, ya this is pretty well known by now. The Bronco is an absolute dog compared to the same motor is other vehicles. The neutering is done in first and second gear btw. Torque and boost.

It’s to give it smoother and precise throttle control in off road situations. It’s by design.

Only good thing about it is that all that power is still there it just needs unlocked.

Did anyone else notice that Superchips has a tuner released. :) bad news is it has NO added power. :(

Sounds to me like we need a Mustang transmission adapted to the Bronco. ;)

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: After 40 years of driving I think my right foot has learned to be smooth.

The power is there (I think) From launch it feels like 1980s turbo lag.

Even driving around in Sport Mode is weak compared to the F150.

Truth. My brother's F150 flies compared to my Bronco. Maybe they couldn't figure out where to attach wheelie bars on the 2-door.

For what it's worth, while the bronco is smaller, it isn't really lighter than the F150
