Must be the same gearing and everything.

Wonder what they did aside from make your one specific Bronco suck so much?

Who knows, but I'm super glad to have something to do with both feet in ordering the 2.3/MT. That's where your man card was anyway. 2.7 is superb for cruising the esplanade though.

So, isn’t the 10 speed in Bronco the same as the 10 speed in F150? Just a different transfer case?

Not really, the F-150 uses a heavier duty 10R80 vs the Bronco, Bronco Raptor, upcoming Ranger Raptor, and Explorer ST with the 10R60, the 10R is a shared core set of architecture but the last two digits represents the metric torque capacity in newton-meters when multiplied by 10 for each gearbox as far as I know thus the 10R60 can handle approximately 200 newton-meters less torque than the 10R80 which is also not as beefed up as the 10R140 in the Super Duties etc.

Look. I'll be moving from a 98 Taco 3.4L 5spd to a 2dr squarch with the 2.7 and auto...I spent an hour tooling around town in a dealer 4dr wildtrak with the 2.7. It scoots. Perfect? From my very limited experience, no. Does it scoot better than my 24yr old, 270k mile pickup? Yes. Perspective, folks.

I'm with you. I'm in the 2.3 Manual out of FJ Cruiser V6 Auto and the Bronco is much quicker.

The noticeable issue it the slow start compared to the F150 and the throttle response is slower.

another thought other than protection of the transmission was to protect the axles with big tires.

If I didn’t have the 2.7 in the F150 I probably would be inIgnorance bliss.

I’m surprised it took 2 years for someone to finally notice this.
She’s only slow in 1 and 2. Don’t really need to burn the tire climbing rocks.

This is the first 2.7 bronco I have driven. I came from a Roush F150 to a Raptor to the 2022 wildtrak. Personally, I think this has more power than the Raptor. I haven’t even messed with sport mode yet. I am very happy with this Wild Thing.

I find the 2.7 in my 2 door Basesquatch pretty quick and fun to drive- compared to my 2019 Silverado LD Double Cab 4 X 4 with a 5.3. (It was super heavy). And way quicker than my 97 Wrangler 4.0, 5 speed manual with mods. Is it as quick as my 2006 C6 Corvette, no. All in perspective.

I had a 2012 F150 with the 3.5 Ecoboost engine.
It's been a couple of years since I've driven it but the Bronco is at least comparable to the F150. And both have plenty of get up and go.
I would like FORD do put one of these in the Bronco.
In my Sons 2014 Mustang. 5.2 with an 88 mm blower, puts out 1100 hp.

Ford Bronco Ford neutered the Broncos 2.7L Mustan

My son was at the Shelby Shop last summer and saw a prototype Wild Track 4 door with the 5.2 and blower. They told him it put out 700 hp.

Shake my head at people expecting a Bronco to perform like a performance vehicle FFS 🤦‍♂️

I came from a 2013 Tuned 2013 Taurus SHO and had to deal with torque mitigation due to the transaxle and ptu on it for AWD.

The 2.7 Big Bend is almost as fast as it once it starts rolling after 10 Mph.
