Tear tags are used by mechanics for your electronics. We use it just as a guide to see where we are in the process. Basically you rig is built.

Module timing predictions (too much time on my hands apparently..) :

@da_jokker modules populated ~9am ET, 53/1037 blend
@cashe3 modules populated ~1pm ET, 275/1037 blend

That's module progress at a rate of 222 vehicles in 4 hours = 56 modules populated per hour

I'm 412/1037 blend, 137 behind @cashe3. Assuming same rate of progress, I should be about 2.5 hours behind you with my modules populating at ~3:30 ET.

And then @Mer1in20 should be following with modules popping a little over an hour later, ~4:40 ET.

Okay still no modules on my end and I officially retract this methodology and resubmit myself to the whims of Ford's randomness.
It was foolish of me to believe any part of this process would be predictable, you would think I would have learned that lesson well over the last 22 months...

Agree, I had modules (8/22 blend) when I checked at 9am this morning (8/25). At the time I did not have a tear tag. I made a mental health commitment to myself that I would not check the status of ANYTHING more than once daily, which is plenty. However, I broke my promise to myself after seeing many 8/22 blenders get a tear tag. So I reluctantly checked the modules page AGAIN for my tear tag (FOR THE 2ND TIME TODAY (cursing myself)) and still nothing. Will report back at 9am tomorrow if anything changes.

This may be a dumb question to ask in this thread, but when is a good time to apply for an auto loan? After its built and we have a shipping estimate? I see some places do a 30-60 day rate lock and I'd like to lock in before the potential September fed rate hike, but don't want to take delivery on the 31st day of my rate lock or something.

I got my VIN on 7/21 and visited a local credit union two days later -- I'd opened an account a few weeks prior for the sole purpose of getting financing through them. Anyway, they approved me for financing right on the spot and told me they'll hold the interest rate for me for 180 days! My build week was 8/29, but I have since been bumped to 9/5. Short of an Ice Mountain scenario, I should have my Bronco within the 6-month window. LOL!
