Looks great @OddBall88 , I really like the black contrast on these so far. Will be interesting if someone paints these and shares. The dew on yours making it look matte is really nice. Makes me wonder if having these soda blasted would add the texture and matte finish without actually painting them.

Well here are the day time photos. There’s a couple spots where it lifting where I may add a stronger tape but other than that they look great.

These look good! I still wish they were a touch wider but I’m not sure they’d look right if they were.

YES! I love the look of these! I was hoping and praying someone with a 4-dr would do it soon so I could see. I will be ordering now to put on my CG 4-dr Wildtrak. Great job and love your rig!

I ordered Nov 1st and received this email:

Thank you for your order. Your order is in stock and estimated to ship out in 1-2 business days from 11/1/2022 (estimated shipping dates may be subject to change). Your product will be shipped out using UPS Ground or USPS. Once shipped, a tracking number will be emailed to you.

When I go to their site for my status it still says the order is processing 🤷🏽

I ordered these on the 12th. Got an e-mail saying to expect them to ship in 1 to 2 weeks from that day.

Man please do. I think the white on white could look great and your test may prove to be a good deciding factor. I like these but a little too shiny black for my taste. Please post pics!

Got my KBD flares installed. I'm happy with the look. I had a bit of a problem installing the tape. Great support from KBD, and I understand they are going to start installing the tape before shipping the fenders so the customer won't have to. Now the important part.

Those look really good. Just wish they would make sasquatch size flares.

I got a PM from @rinconryder asking for any pointers and after replying I realized I am doing the group and kbd a disservice by not sharing with everyone. So here's what I know.

So cleaning the fender flare (back side) is the key. I followed the instructions and it didn't stick very well to the flare. I called them and they wanted to try again with a set where they installed the tape. The tech support guy said he likes to clean the back side where the tape goes with comet and/or SOS pads to remove the silicon release agent completely. Then do the installation process using acetone, then red scotch brite, acetone, then primer. Making sure to fully dry before primer, and again before tape. The second set came with a different primer/adhesion promoter. 3M primer 94, I think it was a much better product. (amazon link you bend to break the vile, then use the tip to apply) I recommend getting that if yours didn't come with it. The wipes that came with the first set weren't as good in my opinion.

Don't hesitate to call their support number they are great and will take care of you.

After installing them the shine of the silicon release agent on the outside was bothering me so I wiped them off with Windex. I'm not saying that is a good idea, but I saw it sitting there so I sprayed a paper towel with Windex and wiped the flares down. way less shiny.

These look so good, the ONLY thing holding me back from buying them is fear for the amount of rocks and debris the wheels will kick up into the body. Has anyone done any small mud flaps with them yet?

your PM was very helpful. I have an ongoing family emergency so haven’t had any time to even think about the install but I did pull one out of the box and the tape is already applied - so maybe they started doing this recently before shipping? Sounds like others Have had to apply the tape themselves.

I have a shadow black bronco and am debating whether to have them paint matched or put them on as they are. I think I will go as they are. I was wanting the ADV format and rear quarter/flares but thought I would give this a try before investing that kind of money.
