285 is wider than recommended for the 7" rim on the base, but lots and lots of folks have done it without issue. 265 will fit better.

As for load C vs load E, the stock tires are garbage Firestone/Bridgestone minivan tires, so anything C or above is an upgrade.

You need to go to an actual tire shop like Discount Tire and not Costco

Edit to add: the one thing you should reprogram is the speedometer. 285/75 is quite a bit larger, and your speedometer will read about 10% off (i.e. it will read 60 when you are doing 65-66)

You're fine with that tire.

Costco has some of the worst tire people, they'll even pull random people off the floor to work in tires if short handed, and they have to follow policy exactly because they have no knowledge.

0mm offset is going to put your tires outward a bit, depends if you like that look and don't mind possible mud/stones hitting side of your Bronco. If that occurs I guess you could install Sas flares or something. Personally for non-Sas I think the aftermarket +35mm offset range is a good fit.

Also the stock 16x7 wheels do accept your tire size, leastways Discount Tire for the tires I checked, shows recommended wheel width 7-10".

You did what?!? You are asking an outdated simple word generating chat bot AI about what tires and wheels to put on your 40K+ new vehicle? Take it to an offroad specialist shop if you have this little experience.
