So how does it work if I "wait for the black-painted modular top"? Does my vehicle come with no top and I just hope it doesn't rain/snow for a year and a half? They should have just thrown in the soft top and said they would ship the hard top to your dealer of choice when it is available.

So maybe I'm misunderstanding but I just buy the modular hardtop for mt FE using the $1895 I saved on the purchase price when it becomes available?

Until the dealership decides to mark up the price and screw you over due to no X plan being available.

And even if you can see it on the outside, be thankful you have vision and a set of limbs to drive your Bronco.

Too bad the two door doesn’t have a soft top option or I’d sell the MIC to someone who has a soft top only and then buy the modular top when available.

They should offer the ability to ship the top separately. I'm going 2 dr and would be OK starting out topless.
