We look forward to testing and finding that out for you guys! These are pretty new from Garrett, so not much out there in the way of actual horsepower gains just yet.

Look at this great upgrade that gives you great drivability and all the power. Oh yeah, how much power? We don't know yet. HAHA.
Our shop Bronco is a 2.3L, otherwise we'd toss these in and put it on the rollers this week. The Garrett PowerMax upgrade has been a very popular turbo upgrade option for a variety of different EcoBoost platforms over the years, so we are excited to see it is now out for the Broncos.

The graph below is an example of power gains we made from a Focus ST with a stock turbo, to the PowerMax upgrade.

If you've tuned "thousands of ecoboosts", then why do you need a 2.7 guinea pig truck??? sounds like you're just now learning how to " battle test" tune them to me. While other tuners have been doing the heavy lifting for years and years.

We don’t have to have every EcoBoost vehicle in the shop at any given moment, that’s just not realistic. We’ve been tuning EcoBoosts since they first came out, from F150s that were tow rigs to Raptors the first year the 3.5 dropped.
We were one of the pioneers in the 2.0L market, first to break 500whp and keep pushing from there. Just because we did not follow the truck platforms early on does not mean we weren’t tuning them. At least we are being transparent about looking for someone interested in this upgrade and helping us continue to push the 2.7 platform forward.
If you are questioning our experience, take a look through our socials, the work speaks for itself.

Passenger side install is easy, driver side is a pain in the dick.
If you have aftermarket intercooler tubes you're going to need 2" to 2.4" 45 deg silicone couplers (I found some on ebay). The stock ones don't fit any more and the turbos only come with an adapter that attaches to the stock tubes.

This is a tough crowd here! 😆

I'm neither near Missouri nor lacking for power in my Bronco, but it'll be interesting to watch and see what numbers show up.

Not afraid of tough at all. We all want numbers and more power. We love what these turbos do on other platforms. We had a big hand in the development of the 2.0L EcoBoost Stage 1 and were the ones to test it on multiple Focus STs, one being my wife’s and another a customer’s car, for nine months before release. I also know who helped test and tune these turbos early on before HP officially released full tuning support. Even got to dabble with them using a power module but unfortunately I don’t have any numbers or additional info I can share publicly on that front.
