Sta-bar disconnected error twice now....

My 2021 Badlands just did this as well. Just came on at start-up, no recent off roading. Won’t go away with restarts.

Just dropped the Bronco off at the dealer for diagnosis. I also have been having issues with the intermittent failure of the front camera like @jxc.

Yup mine got fixed and unfortunately was not software related. Mine was leaking

dealer got me like a 70% discount since my warranty had only been out for a few months. Wound up being like $980 in total to get replaced

Yikes! Sucks that it cost so much, but happy you got it fixed.
Thanks for the additional details.

Mine is still under warranty, but had an undercoating put on by a third party that the dealer was very curious about. I hope that doesn’t invalidate the warranty.

If they try to invalidate the warranty from that that would be crap. Unless some spray got into the electrical connectors I can’t see how it could affect it.

Just wanted to update folks on my STA-bar disconnect warning from back in November. First, Ford recognized the extended warranty despite the 3rd party undercoating.

It looked like the whole unit needed to be replaced. Parts ordered back in November. Took a while to get to Guam. Now finally being replaced this week.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t just a low battery or needing a software reset. Likely a leak as others experienced, just hard to see because of the skid plates.

Got the dreaded

while we were at the Super Cel in TN. We were going to leave on Sunday but cut things short and left on Saturday hoping we would make it back home (350 miles) without issue. Well made it back no problem other than having to look at the message the whole way. Took it to the Ford dealer on the following Monday and at first they thought it might be a sensor or wiring but after inspection found the stabilizer bar was leaking. They ordered a replacement and it arrived on Friday, picked the Bronco up yesterday. All still under warranty so didn't cost anything. Happy to the it back!
