Yep. Typically any time to customer pays for a portion of the part/repair, whether it’s over the counter or even if it’s only a deductible like some instances with ESP, there is an extension. But that wouldn’t be the case under factory warranty.
Don’t know the firm, but I know the area exactly. Sorry, but I seriously doubt this guy has the horsepower to take on one of the biggest automakers on the planet. Don’t believe me? Just take a tour on Google Earth street view.
That’s what I was afraid of them trying to do. I understand that they want to limit their liabilities, but my 3/36 expires at the end of the month so not having them stand behind it for at least another 3/36 from the time it’s delivered is some BS in my mind. I’m scheduled to take it in on 12/15 as this was the first time they have a loaner. I’ll update this thread with their response and any explanations they provide for what’s covered, time period, etc.

But when looking at that page, seems like the photo for Figure 15 is missing (see below). My top has spider cracks as other owners have encountered, and so I'm wondering which part of the pdf may relate to that?

Good to know. Thanks for looking into it and providing a reference. For those that are at or near the end of the 3/36, they still will have a window of coverage for the replaced MIC tops. But of course, that is dependent on the dealer knowing the nuances of warranty coverage. At least with the reference you provided, others that are in that gap have a fighting chance to dispute any lapse in coverage from the 3/36.@Beach_Bum

Yep. That first picture is straight from Ford's Warranty and Policy manual, so hopefully whoever is dealing with this can just reference the section number of it for their dealer.

Here are ones from 2023 and 2024. The first one is the 2024. They have the dates in their title names.
