Nope not letting Ford off the hook that easy. There are TONS of ways Ford could have executed the interior color schemes without pissing off a lot of buyers and without adding any extra complications to the production line.Sure, but other than the electric sway bar disconnect and fancy headlights, each trim can be optioned to be nearly the equal of any other trim. The concern over GOAT modes is kind of a joke as far as I'm concerned so I'm not listing that.
If Ford where to offer true configure to order with ability to start with a base trim and option to anything you wanted from there then their material would become nearly impossible to forecast and production extremely difficult to plan and execute.
I think Iām gonna make a thread on this, but the simplest thing they can do is get rid of all colored stitching. Make stitching white or black on every seat. We can swap or buy other colored grab handles separately not a big deal.
thatās just how they can fix it now without additional cost or complication.
Their trim plan was botched from the start though too many trims trying to follow Jeep. I think they would have been better served to follow the mustang model and make the equipment āpackagesā
