I have no way of knowing but I don't recommend it.I just can't unsee this now. May have to change trims, pardon the pun.
You might want to look into RockSlide Engineerings step slidersHi!! Have a great time!!! Can the rock rails be replaced with tube steps on the Badlands with 33” standard tires? I’m only 4’11” tall and am now going Badlands instead of the OUTERBANKS. Thank you!!!
The rock rails look to be mounted to the frame and the pinch weld.
Hate to say it, but that still looks like mounted to the body to me.
Thank you!!!! I will definitely give those a look! You might want to look into RockSlide Engineerings step sliders
Haha. Maybe the Badlands is the Barbie Bronco instead of the OBX....appears to be anatomically correct.I just can't unsee this now. May have to change trims, pardon the pun.
Not sure what demos you will run into out there, but if you see a Base, Big Bend, Or Outer Banks will you take a picture like this?
Hey, I keep on trying.
Keep in mind the difference between these and the factory power steps you will find on Ford pick ups and SUVs is that these are actual rock sliders and they will protect your Bronco along with giving you a step. I plan on getting them for my FE Bronco because if you look closely they stick out farther than the factory rock slider at the pinch seem. As a Added benefit they should help protect against door dings from idiots.Thank you!!!! I will definitely give those a look!
I watched the video and these are impressive! I will definitely be looking into them ! I have the same question and issues. Leather has 2 rear cup holders but mgv doesn’t? huh? My kids breakfast is going to go everywhere on the drive to schoolThis is incredibly stupid and I'm sorry in advance but what's the arm rest in the back of the badlands mgv 4 door? Is that fold down in the center or are they counting something else (like the door?) as an armrest.
I have two kids that need some sort of physical separation in the back seat so they aren't tempted to hit each other. Parenthood is such a joy sometimes. Fold down arm rest? Perfect.
If not, I'll just need to get one of those bootleg rear center console like things.
This won't effect my order at all I'm just trying to mentally prepare myself. Thanks
Was it Esteban that you talked to?Ok, so I was talking to a Ford guy about the top and the roof rack. Nothing is changing in the design of the top. The only thing that might change is the bolt placements for the rack to lessen the center of gravity.
I appreciate this re-post. My follow-up is specific to the FE which will have power seats in the front. What does that mechanism look like as compared to the manual seats in this video. Is there any difference? Is there more room entering on the passenger side? With only a month or so to decide and get my order in, I'm hoping for more info to come out as these events occur. Especially with the FE's in attendance.Posting this again.
