So, why can't someone order the Sas on a Base MT?FWIW, Mike Levine said the dual lockers are standard on the Badlands and that the website will be updated.

That's a million dollar question and my pockets are empty. So, why can't someone order the Sas on a Base MT?
I heard the reveal video say 2.3 and 2.7 available with manual transmission. I literally jumped out of my chair in celebration.Just to piggy back--not a single piece of information they have released, including anything on any website, graphic, etc.--would indicate the auto-only restriction. Not a single bit.
i interpret this as "why can you get a sas with a manual on base?". because it isn't available. sorry if i didn't answer you questionsSo, why can't someone order the Sas on a Base MT?
It's gotta be way more arbitrary than a software requirement, no? Otherwise they wouldn't be "open to feedback"?Based on all of the documentation, the only reason the Sasquatch package requires the Automatic is the Trail Control feature, which is just software. How in the hell can that prevent the Manual transmission from being used? Just turn off Trail Control and away we go. Instead Ford developed this fancy software and it must be on the Sasquatch package so you have to settle for our slushbox.
You mean it isn't offered. It certainly is available.i interpret this as "why can you get a sas with a manual on base?". because it isn't available. sorry if i didn't answer you questions
from another thread...Also, according to the Ford website, the Sasquatch is not transmission and/or engine specific.
So....is MIKE LEVINE trolling us?from another thread...

Most companies are open to feedback. They usually don't care, but they will always pretend to listen. It's gotta be way more arbitrary than a software requirement, no? Otherwise they wouldn't be "open to feedback"?
