Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

Almost 49. Ordered a 4DR because its easier for us older people to have a proper door to get into a backseat!!! Plus, more storage!

We are in our 50’s, and I keep asking her if she wants me to put the running boards back on, her lifted Sequoia’
She says “No way! Its not a Mall terrain vehicle!”

Wife has a sweet three-row vehicle, so initially I felt good reserving a 2-door as fast as possible on reveal night. But finally switched to 4 in May.

My kids did complain about the 2-door choice, but I told them they could deal with it. Ultimately I grew to like the 4-door look and soft top. And I’m sticking with manual, so family-wise I guess I made a balanced compromise. They prefer four doors, but wife won’t want to drive my stick (she can) and the kids when they start driving won’t want to.

I have crunched the numbers in this 8 page 'poll'. Written some python. Done some deep analytics with HAL and...

I have concluded that you can't draw any friken conclusions based on just # of doors and age of the poster.

It is almost like there are many other variables at play here that get in the way of us stereotyping future Bronco owners based on the number of doors on their Bronco order.

I'm 40 and going 4dr. Been on the fence for a while. Would prefer the 2dr. But I think I'd kick myself for not getting the 4dr when I inevitably can't fit all my sh*t in the 2dr...

We have a 2 door Mustang GT, and 2 door Corvette, and 2 door Ranger. We need, and wanted a 4 door Bronco for friends, family, and to use as a long road trip vehicle. I enjoy taking the 2 doors on road trips, but there are times the wife insist we take the more door so she can buy "MORE STUFF" .
