This theory is assuming that they can get the parts that they need to even build the vehicles.
I don't think that's going to happen based on the conversation I had the other day with my dealership.

Ford can’t make parts for current orders and have managed 5K in a month and said they’ll build dealer stock and you believe they’ll make 20-30K a month?

Agreed, Wabesto hasn't magically jumped to 500 MICs per day. I don't think August will be as many Broncos as they are hoping for. Also no one has any idea what this Covid Delta variant thing will do and how our government will react to it. Will we be in masks again? Will they shut stuff down? Who knows.
Don't jinx it!

Why, for the love of all that is Holy, is Ford showing a picture of a two door Bronco with unavailable donut doors next to the “Bronco Sport” update?!?

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh, not gonna happen. If you believe Ross (which most of us on this forum I believe do) Ford hopes to make 40-50k MY 2021. We aren't going to wake up in August with the roof problem fixed.

So no one in the entire country bought a Ford Fiesta for all of June??!!!
Fiesta was discontinued last year. Mach E replaced it factory-wise.

Discontinued in 2019. Surprised it's still on the report.
Ford keeps products on the report until they've fully balanced out to 0 for the full year.....so since it has 0 for the year (and I presume 0 the rest of the year), it'll be removed in January.

I see a lot of negative numbers...

The chips have fallen where they may?

Yeah, Ford's gotten hit hard by chip shortages and the fire at the chip plant.

If I'm reading this correctly it says they have built 7300 Broncos so far this year??
That'd include demos and pre-production models.

A Tesla is put together in seven minutes on their assembly line. How fast does one Bronco take on Ford's assembly line? That should tell you how many to expect and also be a sign of component issues too.
You realize when an automaker says "vehicle x rolls off the line every 7 minutes" doesn't mean they build it in 7 minutes right? During normal times, Ford normally has an F-series pickup roll off the line every minute - you think it takes them a minute to build an entire truck?

They don’t build a Tesla in 7 minutes lol, it takes days.

I don't care who's in control, I will never lock myself down again. People died for my freedom and I am not giving it up.

Well ya, agreed. But this was more in the context of the Bronco and it being made in a State that is ok with shutting down. Hence slowing Bronco production. Just talking speculation.

That wasn’t my point if you say an F-150 rolls off every minute than what does that equate to in trucks per day?
I even asked that question. Please advise ?

Just pointing out your incorrect implication that Tesla builds a vehicle in 7 minutes, which is what you said.

Do some math man....

If a shift is 8 hours - at 1/minute that's 480 in 8 hours x 30 days = 14,400 units on 1 shift. And there are multiple shifts - 2 shifts, sometimes 3. So 2 would be 960/day - 28,800 for the month, 3 would be 1,440/day or 43,200 in a month.

There are obviously more factors than just that, though - holidays, downtime for maintenance, days off if there's too much inventory, can't get parts, etc.

There's no real easy way to guesstimate how long it takes to build a Bronco, as that's dependent on too many external factors right now. We know they made ~5,500 of them last month.

They built 5500 Bronco's but only sold 800? Where's the bottle neck??
Or is this chip shortage bullshit?
The bottleneck was waiting for OKTB.
