FWIW, my build date was supposed to be next week, but the VIN tracker put mine in "In Production" this morning. If there's going to be a shutdown in a few weeks, I wonder if they're bumping anyone ahead.

Same happened with mine. Build week is 8/9, dealer stated last week that build date is 8/11. We'll see if a window sticker materializes in the next 48 hours.

First thing Ford should do is return the $100 reservation fee to every one who had yet to receive their vehicle. It wouldn’t be about the money, but it would be a decent response to this debacle. I have concluded my MY 22 has been turned into a MY 23. In other news, my Bronco hunger strike has enabled me to lose 33 pounds.

You mean the 3,000+ Ford dealers across North America? Ford Motor Company is not holding Bronco deposits.

Years ago, I worked on the floor of a tier 2 automotive supplier for the big 3...
Shutting down a vehicle production line was THE absolute worst thing you could do.
In one instance, working on a Sunday for double-time, we were making short deliveries BY HELICOPTER to our sub-assembly plant 400km away. The damn thing just lands on the front lawn. Lol
Anyone in the logistics business could tell you how expensive that might be, shipping cast iron brake rotors by helicopter on a Sunday!

Sounds like something GM would do.

I think it’s about time that Ford just says they will make all of the Broncos with free soft tops then make hard tops later for anyone who wants one (free of course). That would convince me to change my order from the MIC top.

what's frustrating is that I have a 4dr Soft Top BB on order, with no build date. :-\

If I had none of the other constraints, I'd be nuts. Be honest, what are you holding back on? 2.7?

Does the dealer have to provide the blend date? The only date I ever got was the build week.
