No I’m cancelling the original one since it’s only from 8/3, more than willing to wait a couple/few extra weeks to get a much better deal from a dealer that communicates and knows what they’re talking about

I swapped to Chapman today. My local dealer won't even confirm they corrected their mistakes on the order. If worth the 107 mile drive south.

Ford confirmation for the Chapman order had a glitch, wouldn't let me confirm the order in my account.

I believe it will be fix tomorrow.
Probably( well most likely) going to take them up on the lease deal too in a few months.

Cool update. I dropped the Bronco off yesterday at @Mishimoto! These guys have a Bronco ordered but have not received it yet so I was able to hook up with them and they have it for the day to start having their engineers tear into it to get some products out to us quickly!

Nick and Bill are two cool dudes who gave me a tour of the shop which was pretty sweet. If you never have heard of them they are a local company right here on the east coast. Check out their website and throw them some love.

Bronco has been good. We all fight over driving it. I do definitely like the road handling better than my Rubicon. It's just more stable and planted...heavy feeling on the road. Pic below is my 14 year old daughter getting her first drive on. Both kids were 14 when I first took them out in a car to drive. It's always happened on our OBX trip driving on the beach. She was very excited she got to do hers in a Bronco!

Mannequin unit has arrived

Test drove this beauty yesterday! I am very impressed with the 2.3L, and the whole time I thought it would be little underpowered but I was wrong! It has better pickup and plenty of torque than my '20 Tacoma 6MT do! I am waiting for Badland 2.3L 7MT to be available so I can test drive it before I submit my order for MY22/MY23. It would've been nice if Ford made the 360 Degree camera and zone lighting as stand alone option so I can add both to the mid pack.

Thank you and no problem. I ordered sasquatch with high package, 2.7/auto and floor liners.

Whatever contacts you have over at Ford corporate, can you please let them know what complete and utter bullshit it is to remove color options that people have been waiting over a year for when they’re only being moved to MY22 because of Ford’s absolute failure of a launch?

I didn’t want any of the colors that went away…. But it is pretty shitty to lose your color to production delays.

100% agree this is horsesh!t, my color was AMB and now we have to settle for another color... If Ford HQ keeps d*cking this up maybe when we finally get it in 2023 (as I don't see them clearing the mess they made in a year) they might have a color of my liking back...

Subject: Bronco Vehicle Specialist Special Announcement | Bronco Vehicle Reservation Paused



Based on Dealer Council feedback, effective Monday, August 23rd, Ford has paused the creation of new reservations for Bronco vehicles. The decision to pause reservations is due to the high number of Bronco 2 and 4-door model orders and current commodity constraints.



Customers are encouraged to work directly with their dealer who can help with the ordering process, delivery timing expectations, and build specifications. For example, dealers can best guide if a customer may be able to get a stock vehicle that’s already built or scheduled. Due to the high number of orders, delivery of Bronco vehicles placed today will extend through 2022 calendar year.



We will communicate a plan to reopen reservations when available.

Please check to make sure your Dealership tier 3 website and advertising initiatives are no longer promoting Bronco Reservations.

• Advertising and promotional material should be updated to encourage customers to talk to their Dealer about placing an order

FAQs

• Why did Ford shut-off reservations for the Bronco™ 2dr/4dr models? Due to the high demand, we’re temporarily pausing reservations for Bronco vehicles. Customers interested in a Bronco vehicle should contact their dealer.
• Can a customer place an order for a Bronco vehicle if they do not have a reservation? Yes, customers are encouraged to work directly with their dealer who can help with the ordering process, timing and options. For example, a customer may be able to get a vehicle that’s already built or scheduled. Due to the high number of orders, delivery of Bronco vehicle orders placed today will extend through 2022 calendar year.
• If a customer already has a reservation for a Bronco vehicle but has not converted it to an order yet, can they still place an order? Yes. Dealers can convert existing reservations to orders with customer consent.
• What Bronco model configurations can be ordered? Customers can order any Bronco model that is available on the Bronco build and price website. Please see the attached recommended builds that will likely be produced quicker based ongoing commodity constraints.
• I have a customer with an early reservation, how can I ensure they are being prioritized? The scheduling system will continue to pull orders based on customers reservation timestamp. As the systems runs out of buildable orders because of commodities, it will move down the list until it finds an order that is buildable. Scheduling prioritizes retail orders with a timestamp first, retail orders without a timestamp second, and stock orders last.
• When will Ford reopen reservations for Bronco vehicles? We will provide an update once more information is available.
• When will dealers be able to place retail orders for the 2022 MY Bronco vehicle? WBDO will open in Q4, more information on timing will be provided soon.
