Thanks @Glenjafett Gene Dios... I had hoped the thread would get others info, pictures. etc.
No worries, we took a lot more pictures. Nothing else really stuck out. You couldn't get good inside pics. We waited quite a while to see it. We also talked to the Ford rep there with Brad Lovell about it. He said it had special "pre-production parts" and I tried to get the info from him but he resorted the corp stance at that point once he found out how interested we were in it. I was hoping to talk to the engineer/driver about it, but he couldn't park right away and by the time we found it he was MIA.

@Ducati0927 ... It’s, I do not care about stuff from a Technical Service Manual [for the most part] that is spueded out like it’s some kind of magical answer… Your Opinion

There are just too many people that have great knowledge and insight to drivelines, suspensions, etc. Tried to follow your postings on the 30 pages plus for the manual trans ... and for a 'Transmission [manual] tech' the posts wasn't worth the time.

Not that you cannot have one

I saw a social media post they are running Bilstein 8112s.
This is not true. I'm 99% sure they were Wildtrac Fox's, but I'm 1000% sure they weren't 8112s... as thats what I run.

Maybe I’m thinking of a different Bronco. I remember seeing a 2 door in the Baja 1000.

When y'all are done arguing about stuff that is way less important to the Norra 1000 than the drivers themselves...

Look up the final scores and see that this stock Bronco driven by the Ford Engineers came in 102nd place and was beat by the #339, a 1995 Bronco driven by a paraplegic using hand controls running in a "Vintage" class, a class that has a limited amount of allowable mods.

...and...

The stock 2026 Bronco came in only an hour ahead of the #26 Caballo del Diablo, a team that runs a 1968 Bronco in the "Pioneer" class, the most strict class for not allowing modifications. Yes, they can put on new parts each year, but they are limited to specs that were offered by the factory for that year, including things like maximum 33" tires and no bypass shocks. The rules for the Pioneer class are so strict that even when they broke a shock bolt, they couldn't just remount the shock wherever they felt like, and they had to spend a ton of time on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere trying to extract part of the broken bolt to be able to mount the top of the shock back into the required factory shock mounting bracket. 😎

When you get a minute, watch replays of the six days of live satelite feed the #26 had on YouTube and feel what it is like to drive across Baja California in a 1960s Bronco. That amazes me way more than all the SXSs and the super modified trucks or even a 2026 stock Bronco. 😁😁😁😘😘🥰🥰🥰

(And a special congratulations to the two stock Porche entries who both finished, even the one who at one point, on day 3, was completely stuck late at night, with a broken clutch, in the dark, on a very narrow trail, high-centered on a rock.)

I could probably guess there is a lot of RTR spec non production parts in this and would not shock me if some of those designs made it to a production vehicle specially on a RTR trim.

I ran the NORRA 1000 in my 4 door SAS and it was a fun little event. Broke a bunch of bolts and lost a couple bolts, lights, and bent the bumper but, it was a great experience in the bronco and good times were had. Could never find the Ford team though outside the first day at Tech. Unlike the rest of the teams they were pretty shy.
