Cargo box for Trailrax half-rack?

Has anyone mounted cargo boxes to a Trailrax half-rack? I bought and installed the TrailRax half-rack a couple months ago. Solid rack, with good potential. It solved my immediate need of mounting a ski rack, and I will likely get the Pax Rax at a future point as well for carrying spare fuel, water, etc. Looking now at adding some cargo boxes for additional storage on camping trips, not doing any serious overlanding, but with 4 passengers there is not a ton of room for gear (even with the super-spacious 4 door ). @TrailRax any suggestions here for cargo boxes that would specifically fit the half-rack?

The bronco looks awesome! This case should fit pretty perfect on there! You just may need to move the crossbars into the slots for proper spacing

We have several of these and LOVE them. They are waterproof, with lots of organizers inside. they lock together really well. I found they are TONS cheaper than the official overland boxes and can't find any fault in them. they stand up to any weather.

The closest case that I can find for my half rack is the ROAM 66L. Like Pelican they are pretty pricey but solid. 31"x18.5"x10.8. I am considering two. (Hers and Her other one)

Are you able to easily remove the rear roof section with the half rack installed?

@TrailRax Do you have any issue with the mounting hardware (specifically the T-Slot nuts) that Pelican sells? The smaller size doesn't seem like it would have enough bite within the T-Slot rail. The large one is too big to fit in the slot. Was looking at mounting the BX140R in the next couple weeks for a trip.

The small ones work. If they are the same pieces that we have used from 1-2 year old mounting kits that they sell, which looks to be the case, it should work. We have some of these mounted on display racks in our show room.

Do you have a photo of the Roam mounting brackets mounted to the rack without the boxes? I'd like to see where you placed them on the rack. TIA

it was really secure. Texas to Montana no issue.

I’ve updated my setup to Roam brackets and 95l cases. Long ways work better on top.

I don’t have my 2021 BL anymore, but the 95L fit edge to edge. Trailrax website only mentions the 83L and 95L for Roam products that are compatible.
