“Lights On” icon?

All this time I ve thought the parking light icon/idiot light on dash indicated lights/low beams on…..guess not. There is no indicator of headlights on?
The Auto icon doesn’t help in daytime. Hmmm.

I currently own three Fords and all three of them show a green light when the lights are on. And an additional blue one when I've selected high beams.

The Escape has a little car shape thingy with the light beams coming out the front as well.

Yep. Green lights on. Blue for brights.

Look to the right of the dash display, lower corner. There is a headlight icon that comes on green when the headlights are on.

Thought the same when I got mine. Green icon all the way right is lights on. Fogs and auto below digital speedo

As others have said. Green for lights on. In the morning/evening if you set auto you will see the little green indicator go on off off every time you drive through a shadow, while your dashlights strobe from bright to dim.

Same indicator in my wife's 2020 F-150

Thanks folks, but No, Not on mine.
Got the green parking light icon, the Auto icon but no green or blue headlight icon.
Will get it checked at next service.
(and yes headlights do come on)

Yup. No icon for just light on.

There is one for the "parking" light and a blue light pops on and off if you leave on the random flasher device, aka auto high beams.

No idea why. I guess because the lights are just always on by default?
