Can't pay for the reservation... ugh...

***UPDATE***

It let me pay when I selected a dealer using the zipcode of the VPN server... rockstars' handiwork?

@Granger Ford switching to you when that is available.
Me too, unless my current dealer with my Bronco res throws it outta the park,

Alright, not being political and I am an ICE vehicle fanboy, but... I do remember Southern California smog before tighter emissions control and the disgusting smell before catalytic converters like the restaurants that reeked of cheap cigarettes even in the non-smoking section. I am looking forward to 90% electric vehicles in urban and suburban sprawling areas and the cleaner air and, hopefully, quieter ambient sound that will bring. Road trips are still far better in an ICE vehicle for now, but most people don't make trips that exceed 300 miles per day on anything more than an infrequent basis unless they're a teenager desperate to lose... uh, something and resort to engaging in a long distance relationship that never gets past third base, but I digress...

This F150 Lightning--wish there was another name--is going to be great for everyone.

I thought the relaunching of a reservation system was a joke. Guess enough people aren’t in the know
In today's virtual world, apparently you don't need a car, just a reservation.

Some enterprising company should start selling NFT reservations, lol.

Mine kept hanging up and I switched to Chrome and it went through.

So this is a decent start for Ford.
But this isn’t practical.
Range is terrible. Too long of a recharge.
Then imagine a trailer or payload.
I bet you wouldn’t get 150 miles.

in 5-10 years probably great
Right now this is a side show

Not saying Ford can/should concentrate on a major product first as they are a global company but it would be nice if THEY BUILT MY FUCKING BRONCO FIRST
As I’ve mentioned before, Ford having people working on other projects is not affecting Bronco production.

Anyone buying this truck has another vehicle or hops on a plane when going out of town. The range is 100% plenty for 80% and they’ll focus on the 20% down the line.

But if my other vehicle is my Bronco BL that I plan on towing to the fun so I save on gas. Either I'm taking a week long vacation to wheel for 1 day. Or I'm driving close to where I live to wheel and come back the next day.

Maybe an Unofficial Off-Roadeo for new EV owners so they can fly to their park of choice and pick up a Bronco to wheel in is a business plan for the future.

This. It meets the use case range for a large percentage of users. Worry about the outliers later.

80%? Of people only drive their trucks 250~ miles at a time?
I hate to say it but the new “family” car or suv has become a 4door pick up. It’s what many Americans use as their family vacation/beach trip vehicle.
So the range is not adequate for much more than 80% of Americans.
