So I have a build week of 1/23/2023 has anyone heard if they are going to push these out or maybe Ford figured 860 days of waiting in enough pain?

I may be treading into dangerous territory here but is there a Goat mode for that?I just learned from an anonymous source the Ford internal code name for his campaign: "Project Sand in the Vaseline". You heard it here first.
"The Seventh Circle? Why, yes, it's over that way - well past the point of confusion, then leave the Sea of Despair on your right (do NOT go in there, that's not actually water!) and *carefully* tiptoe past the Pit of Infinite Suffering and you'll be right there at the 7th Circle of Hell - can't miss it! It IS a bit crowded there right now, not certain why, though we HAVE been hearing rumblings about something going on in Detroit".BUT it seems like i may be wrong. I went back and edited my original post so not to add to the confusion. (Although admittedly we're already well past the point of confusion.)
Yeah, me too!I think everyone should drop the WT and take the offer or go buy a jeep
LOL a classic example of the law of unintended (yet entirely predictable) consequences!dealers are definitely reacting to this. Seeing many raising their ADM for Wildtraks. One went from $5k over to $17k over and when I asked about it they sent the image from this thread and said "its the highest optioned wildtrak you'll ever be able to get, none will be made with lux and hard top any more". Gotta love the pressure there and them looking to jack over customers.
Kinda funny I found a dealer with Raptor ADM lower than a number of dealer's Wildtrak ADM
Short answer = no one knows true likelihood to get your 2DR as a MY2023 with the info we have right now in January 2023. The MIC top will still be the big commodities issue for you. Yes, they will continue to build 2 doors, even ones with Sasquatch and maybe even a few with Lux, so do you have a better chance of being scheduled? for sure you do have a "better" chance, but best guesses are that they can only build 60% of the 2dr orders. It will have more to do with your dealer allocation and where you sit in line with all THOSE orders. Some dealers are already telling order holders to switch to 4Dr.There's a lot of info in the 64 pages of replies here, so forgive me if I missed it, but is there any update or information for us with 2 door broncos on order?
I personally have a base, no LUX and no SAS. Only real options are the modular bumper and 2.7l. Really hoping to get build in 2023, otherwise the PP drop probably puts me over $40k and at that price I'd honestly consider buying a used Porsche Macan S or something that can still put a smile on my face daily driving.
I have a 2 door with a production date of Jan 30, 2023. Will it get built? Who knows at this rate. I'll be convinced when my a** is in the drivers seat.Short answer = no one knows true likelihood to get your 2DR as a MY2023 with the info we have right now in January 2023. You have to call your dealer and work through all the options. You don't have to decide today to change your order.
I'm just criticizing Ford's customer relationship/ data management model. What you qualify for is easily obtained. Ford has a page on their website explaining in detail. There was some extremely bad info going on this thread yesterday but didn't feel like jumping into it, most of the time it gets straighten out...eventually.
The dealer CANNOT change or take part of YOUR private offer, it is your money, your store credit with Ford. What the dealer can do is adjust their price upward which in effect does the same thing, this is the reason to have an agreement in place for the price. Anyone that "orders" a vehicle, waits till it comes in, then walks into the dealer asking "ok, what do I pay" is asking to be taken advantage of.
My advice is know what you are "owed" by Ford and make sure your dealer/salesperson abides. Be nice and professional during the whole process. Most of the time the salesperson does not know or forgets, they sale more than just this one product.
My experience was different with BMW at least. I got the last year of the 440i hard top convertibles during the pandemic and it didn't have it. I took what I could get. After I got it, I tried to see if I could somehow get ACC aftermarket and nobody would touch it. I don't have the expertise to diy, but I saw that a few people had accomplished it diy. It seemed like getting the right controller and all the parts was a pain in the arse.Adaptive Cruise control is pretty affordable to retrofit.
Big companies can move slow. Sometimes that's their ultimate downfall. Sometimes they keep going by momentum alone.I'm just criticizing Ford's customer relationship/ data management model.
Every one of us with a reservation has an account on Ford.com. The SmartVincent incentives database should be linked to our customer account, showing us any private offer or other incentives available. This is how a tech savvy 21st century global company with billions in sales operates. If Farley really wants to go to a direct sales model with EVs, he has to modernize his information systems. The dealer ordering system is pretty archaic as well. They make it look pretty on Ford.com website (Build and Price Tool) but under the cover, it's a dated system that causes the dealers all kinds of issues. This is the root cause of the 22 to 23 Sasquatch drops---the carry over process

The thing with BMWs is that the steering wheel button was not there but also the front sensor and the wheel sensors/controllers. It just turned into a big pain.
Some of that stuff may already be in place on Broncos and maybe it's easier.
I'm not saying it can't be done, but if someone is dead set on ACC, they should look into it ahead of time.
I ended up trading in my 20 BMW 440i with 8k miles on a 23k mile 2019 BMW 440i that had ACC (and the interior color I preferred). I just decided I wanted ACC that bad. It's like ATM machines back in the day. Once you use it, it's really hard to go back to not using it.
Anyway, that BMW trade was an even one with the dealer. The woman's mind back in financial at the dealership was blown. lol "Wait, you're giving us a 2020 BMW 440i with 8k miles and you're leaving with a 2019 BMW 440 with 23k miles?!". "Yep."
