I'm a proud former FJ owner, and as much as I love my 7-speed MoarDoor Badlands, I do miss my Sun Fusion Yellow 2007 FJ! Glad to see you get to enjoy both.

As for the FJ, I totally hear you. I actually bought a 2014 army green FJ 6MT in Jan- 2014. Four years later I had to sell her due to financial crisis. 2 years after that and A LOT of extra shifts I bought a lightly used FJ TTUE and placed a deposit on the Bronco. See I never could fall in love with the wrangler I don’t know why. I test drove 6 of them over the last 10 years but still can’t!

Anyhow, still doing extra shifts to payoff both my babies and the mrs.

First impressions: The Bronco was very much worth the wait. I am amazed at the build quality. The engineering that went into this vehicle is truly amazing. Seems like they had outdoors off road people partake in the designing of the Bronco. The electronics are just over the top. I really like the FordPass app. My one question is will the perimeter alarm go off if some one tries to gain entry through the soft top. It’s seems pretty easy to just remove one of the rear side windows and you are in.

"PLEASE STEP AWAY FROM THE CAR". (I actually had this on a 1986 550 SL)

I dont think its (Ford's) is a real perimeter alarm, is it? More like heavy movement. There is a thread on this topic, tho.

Well, I admit to being terminally stumped--can't make out the terminal info. The recording said my baby departed some city that sounds like "Elvis, CA" at 4:59p. The closest phonetically is Alviso near San Jose, which would make sense and be great--just 40 mi from dealer!--but isn't listed as a UP freight stop. Will check again in the morning.

WELL..... I am off the trains. Delivered to OKC last night. Now I'm just waiting on a truck to load her up and bring her to Tulsa... This feels like the longest wait ever... I am just happy I can stop calling CSX and Union Pacific now...

Ordered my reman engine for my 2007 FJ today.......$4200 (ouch) but it has a 5 year unlimited miles warranty......I LOVE my FJ.....will never sell her. Gonna put another 330k miles on her.
