I think the most important thing I have learned from this list today is everyone who placed their reservation before September 18 can get a Bronco in 2021.
I also learned that Ford is able to pop out 1300 F-150s a day. Thats almost a half a million in a year.
The MAP will assemble both Bronco and Ranger, with a 60/40 split. This will result in +/-2500 Broncos, per week. You can take this information to the bank!

I'm number 386...even though I'm not sure how Ford structures the reservation number. (ordered around 2am on 7/14)

Did you remove all the scrubs who dropped out here on the forum?
I don't think we should be trying to calculate how many M&M's are missing from the jar when we now know Ford is really good at making lots of vehicles fast. If there are 200,000 orders and Ford can make 88 F-150s an hour, even half that would put them well over 200,000 in a half a year.

Was playing around with some sample size and statistically valid size online calculators I have used in the past when putting together stuff for presenting data.

Assuming 168,000 reservations (guessing more than the 165,000 but not a lot due to cancels). With 4,846 entries on the tracking list is enough for a 99% confidence level with a 2% margin of error.

Very cool seeing 4500 or so on the list, there is some duplicative data though. Interesting to see laid out - thanks for the work!!

Amazing when you consider at 4500 or so that is less than 2% of Reservations.

The PDF attached is the sequential reservation number list from this forum as of 10/17/2020.

I have done this many times with mixed results/criticism . THIS is for entertainment only. I do this on my free time and its not that fun, but I enjoy it and people request it.

I pull this list from the reservations that YOU have entered. If you do not see your reservation on this list - you did not enter your number correctly.
  • The reservation number DOES NOT accurately coincide with the timestamp. (meaning-you could have a higher number and have a lower timestamp or vice versa.) BUT, this is what we have and not what Ford has, so this is as accurate as we can get. Its pretty close so don't worry too much.
  • The dates reserved are what YOU entered. MANY MANY MANY 7/14's are really 7/13's. Don't let this bother you. If you reserved the first night, you will be just fine.
  • Again-this is a data pull from this website and will generally let you know your place here.
  • You can do a find function to find your user name.
That was a lot of hard work. Thank you! Your kindness did not go unnoticed

I think Ford will over deliver. Take a look at what Ford is really able to do. If they have 200,000 Bronco orders and can do 1300 a day?
Ford has 2 dedicated F150 plants designed and built to handle 1 million trucks a year. MAP has a capacity of about 5300/week or only 275k a year, and they have to build the Ranger there too, of which Ford sold around 90k last year.

Except for things have changed at Ford recently as the end of 2019 .
Ford is planning to spend $1.45 billion on 2 Detroit factories to build its new Bronco and Ranger, adding 3,000 jobs in the process https://www.businessinsider.com/ford-to-add-3000-jobs-in-the-detroit-area-invest-145b-2019-12

That doesn't mean almost quadrupling production capacity. Nowhere does that article mention increasing capacity. Only the Ranger has been built at MAP since 2018, which has been way under their total capacity. The new jobs and investments are to GET to the 275k/year output. They've only been running 80k-90k the last 2 years.

MAP (Michigan Assembly) is currently building Rangers on one shift. The second shift is coming ahead of Bronco's launch.

At the currently planned 70/30 mix of Brocno/Ranger at MAP, they'll be putting out 1,200 Broncos a day between two 10 hour shifts. For launch year, they're able to add Saturday production at 2 Saturdays on, 1 Saturday off. (There will be no third shift added at least until the new Ranger arrives in a few years, and that will depend on demand at the time)

They'll be building 7,200 Broncos a week with Saturday on and 6,000 a week with Saturday off.

Assuming they're able to maintain that speed and cadence - and assuming the Bronco body shop can keep up with that pace - you'll be looking at the potential for over 45,000 builds in the first 2 months.

at 45,000 every two months that puts them close to 270 plus in a year.
