What do we do with the module information? Or shall I say what can you do with it? Why would I want to download it? (sorry a little off topic) But is there something we should be doing with this info ahead of delivery?Soo I have a tear tag now but no modules are populated. Interesting...
The module information is detailing what is programmed into each controller - primarily used by the dealer to reflash your car during a service, module replacement etc. Typically tear tag (vehicle/powertrain combination/protocol with the computers) comes after the modules are activated which is why I was surprised to see mine.
The AsBuilt data basically configures the behavior of all the computer modules in the car. It answers questions for the code running on the modules such as:
If you've seen the Forscan threads, this is the data they are manipulating to change configurations in the car i.e. speaker settings, light setting, chime settings, missile launcher, etc.

What link did you use to find that data? Dealer mentioned delivery should be between Nov 9 and 15! I would love to be able to pick up this weekend IF it is here!!!!!
