Thanks for the reply! I may look into this setup right now I am running a small box but it hits very hard. I have no rattles even with the slide out tailgate installed. I used quick disconnects in the case I need to remove it and I did not remove the stock sub either so I will have a little bass lol.

Here is the current sub:

Looks good. Mine is a 22 and no sub at all. Changed all speakers, and put 6.5's in the back. So much better now.

I'd be concerned that enclosure isn't going to be big enough for that new sub . I also have the Stinger tailgate mounted sub, powered with the Phoenix Gold 500.1, the bass is way too boomy for me, I need to take it to a shop to have a DSP installed and have it properly tuned (about $1400)

Sorry, no I didn't. The specs are online though.

Yeah I know... She's a daily driver though. Didn't think the box would hurt too bad.
size, porting and box build quality are almost as important as the woofer you put into it.

The specs are fairly close, except the wattage. Size is the same. I'm certainly no audiophile, but it sounds better to me.

You are right on the cusp of volume for box size with that woofer according to specs. Seems it likes a bit more depth but I'm sure it is fine and to your point, if discernible and worth it to you then great.

I will be putting my Infinity on later today hopefully. Excited to see what difference it makes.

Installed the infinity. Surprised to see how much thinner overall it is but felt solidly built. Running it at 2 ohm currently with my 500.1 kicker key. After a quick 5 min test, seems to hit a bit harder overall than the P.G. but not a drastic change overall. I paid only $85 on special for the woofer so was a steal.
