2.3 because unless the 6 follows an i the engine is garbage. In all seriousness with the performance support for the 2.3 you can get all the performance you want out of the engine, and it’s easier to work on when you go to put in the big spooly boy on.

We want the bigger engine. Probably get a manual if they provided one. We are looking for lowlow gearing.

Must be shark week, dude went on a tear for 6 or 7 in a row. Check the profile, it was his only “contribution” to the site.
I still learned some things from the discussion, though, so that's something.

I have a 2016 V6 Manual Transmission Red Convertible Mustang with black racing stripes.

Very few notice that I don't have a V8 and instead have the "base model".

As a bonus, I can get through all six gears without breaking the law.

Base, Manual is what I am planning to get.

2.7, have one with the ten speed in my current ride. Should run great with the 4.70 gears in the 35 " package.

I’m assuming it will be more expensive :ROFLMAO:
This is a poll. What engine will you be getting on your new Bronco? The 2.3 or 2.7?

Also, list reasons why you are getting the engine that you chose.

The truth is I haven't decided for sure yet and it depends on how much it costs. I have been driving a 2019 Ford Ranger for a year now and love the 2.3! I have gotten 25 mpg when I can stay out of the throttle. But I have also talked with my trusted Ford service advisor and he thinks I should go with the 2.7 all the way. There are so many other options that I want, that I would not want to pay more than $1,200 for the bigger engine.

Reasoning for the 2.7? Well nothing more than I'm a fan of larger displacement engines and trying to get a 2.3 to give you the power of a 2.7 is a waste of money (and I plan on tuning the motor).

Would prefer a V6/manual combo but it's not available and being my DD in Houston traffic, an auto makes way more sense.

Echoing many of the sentiments in the thread, I’ll probably get the 2.7L as long as the price difference is reasonable (~$2,000 or less). If it’s only a $1K upcharge, then it’s a no-brainer.

I am completely at a loss as to how that is a bonus, or even not an embarrassment.?
Excellent point, if you cannot get pulled over in a Red Mustang with racing stripes, you should be embarrassed, manual transmission or not.

I knew I should have bought the plug in C-Max instead. If you are going to get embarrassed either way, at least get fuel efficiency.

Don't worry - plenty of people will embarrass themselves driving Sasquatch models mainly to the supermarket and coffee shop. ;)
