Just looked and my coolant is below the min level. I didn’t check it on delivery, but seems odd that they would give me less than the min.

Yours is MB3E-6007-AA, @Ice Age has MB3E-6007-AB. we are exploring the idea that -AB is a supersession. Don't read too much into it, because supersessions happen alot...for lots of dumb reasons. Now...I know it was covered somewhere else, but do we have some replacement part #s
You guys are all doing a great job compiling data wish ford would just come out and tell us all what the hell is going on with this engine I hope my engine last forever but if there’s going to be a recall I wish ford would stop dragging there dick in the dirt and replace the engines they know are screwed up

Monitor carefully, when one has a head crack, warped head of bad head gasket, coolant goes into the combustion chamber and out the tailpipe. You're the second person to post a level like that, unless it was you that posted before.

It should have never left ford like that or your dealer I’d send those pics to your dealer and say wtf make sure your Coolent hose is out of the way of the pulley too mine was a,ready zip tied away from it not sure if ford or the dealer did it but glad they did it cause they are so close to the pulley it will slice the hose open

I thought some one said the a and ab were the lines the engine was built on maybe not sure
No...that's not what that # is for. Production uses a very slightly different # system than service parts...but they are related. Regardless of WHERE a Ford part is produced it has a part # that is WHAT it is. Sometimes different plants produce identical parts to meet demand. Those identical parts would have the same engineering #. When they change a # it's generally because there has been a change. Engineering #'s can be converted to service part #'s in Ford's parts 'fiche, but not the other way. My bet is that all -AA motors will supersede to -AB motors going forward. We shall have to see if the next unlucky guy waiting for a replacement gets a -AB

I sure hope they do the right thing. Seems like it would save them money in the long run. Could they just replace the valves in our existing engines?

Way too soon to draw that conclusion. AB might have the same issue for all we know at this point.

The difference-AA to -AB is just unknown.
Stay chill as we are no different but just have a new data point
