I'm going to print this out on flannel and wrap myself up in it like a blanket!

Navigation explained, yes!

Connected:
  • 90 day trial
  • Will terminate entirely without subscription
Connected Built-in:
  • 3-year trial
  • Will revert to regular navigation after trial
Use the Waze app via Apple Carplay or Android Auto. You'll be much better off, especially on interstates where enough people use it that the police reports are accurate.

The B&P still requires one to add the rock rails on the BL trim and adds the $595 to the build price. Doesn't make sense unless Ford decided to go back on that. Not sure how it works on the dealer order as I haven't placed mine yet.

The FE has the Modular Bumper so the removable area is where the Fog Lights would be installed. But the picture on the FE page in the brochure shows a flat area exactly where you could put the fog lights.
Does the Black Diamond come with rock rails? Initial marketing materials stated that it does. Build and price says it doesn't. Now this guide says it does.....
The order guide says they're standard...

And so does the Ford website for the BD:
https://www.ford.com/suvs/bronco/2021/models/bronco-black-diamond/

I remember seeing somewhere else that Ford stated they're standard on BD and BL.
I think the B&P is wrong. At least I hope so, because I didn't add them to my BL order.
Just spoke to my dealer (who I do trust) and he confirmed that my BL order comes with rock rails. I have to assume that BD and FE come with them, since this crazy document is the only thing that says they don't.

The Telenav technology relies on stored maps in conjunction with the GPS location signal. The GPS satelite signal only contains time and position data, it does not transmit any other data such as traffic.

Maps Off the Beaten Path: Telenav®, Ford Navigation Tech Keeps Routing Even When F-150, Bronco Off-Roaders Exit Cell Coverage
If you haven't used Android Auto or Apple Car Play, you need to rent a car or borrow somebody's that has it. No need for built in navigation anymore. Google maps lets you download whole areas to your phone for offline navigation, so you don't need to have cell service for it to work. I have 4-5 areas that I always have available offline.
My WRX has built-in navigation, but never use it because I use Google Maps or Waze through AA. My wife's Ascent doesn't even have navigation built-in; it was an option we chose to do without because of the AA functionality.
Would the phone I'd have to upgrade to be more expensive than the built-in nav?

Shouldn't be. You can pick up an android phone for under $100 and a 4GB/mo plan from someone like Mint Mobile is only $15/mo.

Ford still showing off that awesome wintergreen-ish "Cactus Gray" that doesn't actually exist.

What are those? Lol.

Holy sheiit man. Yeah just get the Bronco nav 😂
You're living in the 90s with that phone and there's A LOT of new things with modern phones.

Your cell bill would go up quite a bit from what you currently have too

Well, that's exactly why I thought you may be asking. :ROFLMAO:

Ask yourself, how long do you plan to stay with the flip phone or have you thought of upgrading to a smartphone?

The answer to that will tell you your map solution.

I love telling everybody about the amazing "4-60" air conditioning technology it comes with. They all say, "Wow, that sounds awesome. What is it?"
Take off four doors and go 60mph! (drops mic) (crowd groans)

Lol, its not that old. I've only had it for about 5 years or so, it replaced my first cell phone when it stopped sending/receiving signals. I just never cared about upgrading, I like that it's simple and only ~$30 a month.

Well, that's exactly why I thought you may be asking. :ROFLMAO:

My wife has a smart-ish phone (a not so good LG) thats worthless when it loses service, just not sure if $695 plus a subscription for the off-road nav is a good investment. And if I go basesquatch I'd have to get a Garmin or something.

Have it on my 2011 kia
It's nice to have when your hands are full with shopping bags after a grueling day of mall crawling, or you are double fisting soy lattes
Parking lots are a place where a lot of crime happens these days. Being able to quickly enter your vehicle is a real plus, especially for a Woman that may need to dig the fob out of her purse.
