Yeah the gvwr restrictions, in this case, are for keeping it in the same class as the wrangler. Safety has little to do with not being able to add roof rails on a Sasquatched automatic 4door

It is all very reasonable when you use some common sense....
The 2.7 has too much power for the adhesive to hold it on....DUH!

So does this mean since I was able to add it on my BL build, the cost will be removed come order time?

Thank you for posting this! It was driving me nuts too!

On B&P you can't add roof racks without removing the 2.7 engine and sasquatch package. Some people are guessing it must be a weight issue making the bronco top heavy. If so, why is Ford promoting this vehicle with overlander options to attract consumers, but can't build one on B&P?

Same reason they’ve been showing white tops in photos/renderings ?

The Overland "Concept" is not a sasquatch , so there's that . It's also a manual 2.3L .

Those are two completely different vehicles in my opinion.

No one can tell you what you should get without any background.

Looking for something super capable.?Badlands. Looking for something cheaper that can still get you a lot of places? Big Bend.

Kill points for Badlands: it has every feature you can get.

Advanced 4x4, heavy duty front axle, MGV all push me into BL. And that’s before considering adding mid-package with a manual.

You get a additional goat mode, but i dont plan on doing any Major rock crawling. Mostly some mall crawling and some occasional Overlanding.

Badlands is slightly lifted compared to BB, has MGV standard with option-able leather, and is available with High or Lux packages.

If any of those items are must or like-to-haves, then BL.
