I was toying with the idea of ordering a Badlands for the 33 inch tires but after seeing this video showing that 285's fit a Black Diamond without any spacers or lift, I am going Black Diamond.

What's up with markups these days? Anyone know if Crossroads Ford in Apex, NC will do anything like that? Ford already increased prices 2x while I was making up my mind. I could have bought a Badlands for what a Black Diamond now costs. Such is life.

Not a bad idea. The Black Diamond 4.46 ratio would be ideal for 33's.

I'm currently running 285/75/17 on my wrangler without a lift and love the look.

I'm sure I'm going to love it also on my new 2023/2024 Bronco...

I got the Badlands which is stock with 285/70/R17 and personally I think it's the best look!
I thought so too until I saw and drove a 2 dr Sasquatch. Totally different.

I just converted my reservation to an order ahead of the looming deadline for 2022 orders. There's no way to know if I will get it this year or not. I went with the Black Diamond, 2.7-liter, and the hard top. I went with Race Red which is a color I have been coveting for a while now on F-150's.

Oh yeah? Who knows. I think I'll be happy with 275 or 285.

I test drove a stick shift back in December. It's a really unique, fun vehicle and I am looking forward to it.

By your logic you might as well get a base and put the 285/70R17 tires on it. It’s a very capable bargain rig that in my mind is really only missing the rear locker. It’s probably the rig I should’ve bought, but here I am with a Badlands in the garage because it’s what I wanted on order day.

There is a lot more to Badlands than just tires. Decide if you need the front locker or want access to the High/Lux packages. The larger front axle, better shocks, sway bar disconnect, and all that other stuff adds up.

Oh sure, I am not saying that the Badlands isn't worth getting. I'm saying, I'd prefer to save 6k and do without some of that nice stuff that it comes with.

If I wake up in the morning and want to switch to Badlands, can I call the dealer and still do that?

33s are perfect on the 2-door. If you threw them on Sasquatch wheels the vast majority of people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. It’s only about a .75” smaller radius.

Yes, you can change your mind until a VIN is issued.
