I thought soft top would move you to the front of the line no matter what, I switched to soft top a few days ago

For my build (BB, 4-door soft top, 2.3/AT, mid pkg, no add ons), I changed to soft-top and the 2.3 and the very next week it was scheduled (1/10/22). Small dealership, reservation 5/18/21. As other forums have illuminated, there are so many other variables aside from reservation date--color may have something to do with it too (maybe the green is constraint item?). Keep the faith and good luck to you! I'm still waiting on my 2-door, which "the dealership says" maybe by the fall of 2022.

nah I switched when they told us that softies would move fater (the first time, months ago). then whenthey pushed me to MY22 I asked for MIC, which I recently dropped again

I don’t think there are, or at least they would be very rare, maybe only at one dealer…at least those that have been non-99 and soft top from the beginning. Nothing else has been a big enough constraint to stop those from getting built.

Agreed Gamecock, this is why I posted the question... I see a lot of earlier reservations than mine, but rarely see a soft top, minus tow, still waiting from July/August 2020.... Most are MIC.

For people who keep thinking it isn't possible or very few exist, you are incorrect. There are an insane amount of unbuilt/unscheduled soft top - day two, three, four reservations. 516 days and counting right here and I switched my order to soft top in June.

there are day 1 reservations that are soft tops with dealer allocation, Lux package, tow etc constraints
i'm 519 days, but there are several reservations in front of me in our Texas buyers forum that are day 1

I am also 520 days in with BL 4 door softy with lux ,sas, and 2.7 with NO ETA.
