This does it for me....moving on to ordering a Raptor. At this point I fully expect my bronco to be a 23.....

Ford, a lot more people would switch to soft-tops now if you built them with the rear windshield wiper parts for when they upgraded to a hard-top later. That includes First Edition reservation holders.
Bam! That folks is some truth right there.

14 pages already huh.

Guess they don't want us to know because if we found out it's going to be another year they'd lose a bunch of reservation holders

So if MIC is a limitation and FE can only have MIC and Ford says FEs will all be MY21, why are there ANY Non-FE rigs being scheduled and so many FEs yet to get scheduled?

“Hey, this problem we announced a couple of months ago... yea, we’re no closer to solving it now as we were then. Tough shit. Suck it up buttercup.”

...At the very least, this 2pm email was the first deadline Ford hit.
THINGS MUST NOT BE CHANGING AROUND THERE!
Not really I got mine at 2:17pm..

These two sentences are a bit contradictory:

  • The reason this email is down to the wire is because we've been doing everything we possibly can to avoid the need to send it.
  • And while we are investing millions of dollars to fix our roof supply issue, that investment unfortunately won't materialize overnight.

Ford has known the top issue for some time and would have saved face a bit if this was just communicated often and early. The lack and then hype of any communication is piss poor at best.

While I am glad the news is not worse. However, I am disappointed with Ford solely because of their terrible communication during this entire process.
I’m upset as they are building other hardtop Broncos ahead of first day reservations. After they spent months saying timestamp is everything.

However considering Ford showcased Broncos with options and interiors that were never available what do you expect?

Ford used to be a solid company.
