Ah ha!
I've noticed the missed shift issues also, but didn't really stop to analyze why it was happening. I'm 6.5k miles in...
But yes, exact same symptoms, but I'm getting a better feel for it now also.
I'm glad it's not just me! LOL

Ok. I feel like less of a dingbat for grinding the gears a couple of times.

I assumed the “Bronco Saved” was when the settings were saved.

You might be right, but I've only seen it right after an automatic re-start. Maybe it was saving data related to the stall? Maybe it explains it somewhere in the manual.

Is there any type of computer intervention with respect to sensing wheel spin or applying torque vectoring while offroad with a Manual trans? Perhaps similar to how things are handled with Auto trans?

Further, is anyone aware of any technical documentation on any of this- aside from owner's manual perhaps?

Sounds like they needed to do a little more Research & Development if people are grinding gears & missing shifts on a cable driven MT.
Has anyone seen this video? A clip wasn't fully secured and trans wouldn't go into gears, brand new from the factory.
Also, that counterweight hanging on the side of the trans looks like a bad place for mud and debris to get hung up on.

Perhaps grinding gears was the wrong terminology- but, a couple of times I went into 3rd trying to go into 5th. Hasn’t happened in a while now that I’ve got a feel for the shifting. It’s definitely the most fun I’ve had driving a stick.

No problems missing gears in mine. Compared to my Tacoma, this thing shifts itself. I find 1st has plenty of leg and 6th goes unused below 80mph. Crawl gets used a lot. I miss my old rock crushers, but this one I like.

I love the manual tranny in the bronco. I only have one problem with it.
The manual transmitions in my current two trucks, and previous vehicles , I never really had to look at the tach. You could tell by sound or vibration what revs your at.
The bronco engine is so smooth and quiet I can't feel it.
For example I'll look at the tach and realize I've been driving for the past 10 mins at over 3k rpm. Maybe I need a louder exhaust.

I have read that bastard front to back and don't recall seeing that. I'm sure I 'll experience it.

I'm pretty sure every single morning when I start my Bronco it says "Bronco Saved"...

I've just resigned to a life of forgetting to disable it and then getting reminded again when it shuts off at a light
That's another way to handle it.

I haven't driven mine a lot yet but it seems like it has a lot of rev hang. I'll shift from like 2nd to 3rd and have to wait 3 seconds for the revs to drop so I can let out on the clutch. What's up with that?

Not sure what you mean, if you let out the clutch it will naturally bring the RPM down to match the speed. I have never waited for the engine to slow before letting out the clutch.
